Who Am I
I have been practicing yoga for 24 years, I am an E-RYT® 500, YACEP® yoga instructor certified through Yoga Alliance, a Chopra Center certified Primordial Sound Meditation instructor, the co-founder of Hive & Thrive, the owner of the Svadhyaya Yoga Teacher Trainings established in 2008, and the founder of the Awaken to Stillness Meditation Teacher Training program. I have trained hundreds of educators around the country in all of these disciplines. I also lead retreats around the globe (with previous destinations including Panama, Iceland, Costa Rica and Mexico). I will incorporate any and all of these modalities during our time together. When I’m not helping you thrive, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 25 years, my three young adult daughters, and my 4.5 pound Morkie, Crystal.
My approach to life is to see the beauty and the good first. I look for what’s going well in my life and other’s lives as opposed to what’s wrong. This positive mindset approach is how I managed to successfully navigate my transitions and what attracted me to the field of positive psychology. I am an ACC level executive and life coach through the International Coaching Federation and hold a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology and Positive Psychology Life Coaching that I earned from the Flourishing Center in New York City. I use this scientifically-rooted technique along with my intuition to create a collaborative approach to help you develop stronger pathways for skillful living.
My intention is to help you find new levels of fulfillment and achieve rewarding goals that you desire both personally and professionally. Our sessions will help you move forward in your relationships, career, and health. We will explore your belief systems, behavior patterns, strengths, talents, gifts and resiliency to help move you towards living the life you desire and deserve.
Transitions are a part of life and can be challenging. If you are in a situation where you are struggling, how do you move through it? This is where my approach using positive psychology can help you thrive. Mindfulness, stability, clarity and courage are essential to help you live the life you desire. What is your why? What is your purpose in life? And what’s at the core of anything that you are doing? We will explore these questions and many more to help you create more clarity, confidence and meaning in your life.
